Title: Child fighting depression

A girl child is undergoing depression treatment at PGI Chandigarh. She is unable to attend school for full day; sometimes insists to go back home after first period. Kindly suggest ways to tackle her problem.

पीजीआई चंडीगढ़ में एक बच्ची का अवसाद(depression) का इलाज चल रहा है। वह पूरे दिन स्कूल नहीं जा पाती है। कभी-कभी पहली अवधि के बाद घर वापिस जाने के लिए जोर देती है। कृपया उसकी समस्या से निपटने के उपाय सुझाएं।

Counsel her after getting background details and finding the reason for depression. Explain to her the importance of taking her medication regularly. Depression is totally curable with medication, and should not be causing any problems. Ask her to send me a message to call her back.
