Some of the students are forcefully  given admission in particular stream in order to save certain posts from rationalisation. Or many students opt particular subjects under peer pressure. They are not much interested in those subjects  and they don't have calibre ànd aptitude for those subjects.Many are forced by parents to opt particular subjects. All these facts  apparently  influence their achievement level.
